Students who have completed the Accounting Technicians Certificate of Uganda (ATC-U) course and wish to enrol for the Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA-U) course qualify for exemptions in three papers; namely:

1. Financial Accounting (Paper 1)
2. Economic Environment (Paper 2)
3. Business law (Paper 3)
