A. It stands for Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.

Q. What does ICPAU do?

A. ICPAU has two major functions, namely:
(a) To regulate and maintain the standard of accountancy in Uganda.
(b) To prescribe or regulate the conduct of accountants in Uganda.

Q. What services does ICPAU offer?

A. i) The Institute registers and examines students for the professional accountancy courses, CPA(U) and ATC(U).

ii) ICPAU provides Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to its members and other interested parties.
