The Institute has a CPD Programme, which keeps members and other stakeholders abreast with the developments in the accountancy profession, and economic and global trends. The issues discussed cover areas such as, good governance, risk management, taxation, management, information and communication technology, financial reporting, control and management, and implications of Government of Uganda Budget Reports. These aim at enhancement of service delivery by the members to their clients and employers. Members of the Institute are required to obtain a minimum of 40 hours (30 Structured and 10 Unstructured) of CPD every calendar year.
