Q - What does one need to do in order to be recognised as an accountant in Uganda? A - In order to gain recognition as an accountant you need to have completed the following accounting courses. Q - What course does ICPAU offer? A - We offer two courses namely: Q – What do I need to enroll? Certified Public Accountants of Uganda - CPA(U)Entry Requirements (any of the following): 2. Degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized university, tertiary institution or professional body. Accounting Technicians Certificate of Uganda - ATC(U)Entry Requirements (any of the following): (a) A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least division 3 or the equivalent, including passes in English and Mathematics. (b) UNEB Group Certificate of Business Education of at least stage two. (c) Other certificates from recognized institutions. 2.
