Target companies you would like to work for and send them your details. Even if nothing is available now, your initiative may be remembered at the right time.

Information on salaries
Before you go into a salary discussion make sure you've researched your value in the marketplace, i.e. your general market value based on skills and experience, and your value to your employer. Ensure that you have an idea of what your contribution will be to the organization tying to employ you. Prepare some valid reasons for why you believe you are at a particular remuneration level. It is also important for you to know the range of other salary guides for business, finance and accounting industries.
When you're negotiating your remuneration be prepared to be flexible. Not all jobs will have room for negotiation, and you may have to decide what you are prepared to work for given your experience.
