Brief profile for Sandra Nakibuule Batte

Sandra Nakibuule Batte is an Associate Director, Markets & Business Development at Ernst & Young (EY), EY is a member firm of Ernst & Young Global.

She started her career at Interfreight Forwarders as a Market Executive and later moved to EY as the Business Development Executive. She rose through the ranks and is now an Associate Director in Market and Business Development. Sandra manages business development and client relationships at EY in Uganda and provides strategic business development in the East Africa region.

Prior to becoming the Associate Director in Markets, she led the Transaction and Advisory Service line where she advised clients in raising, preserving, investing, and optimising capital.

Sandra has a wealth of knowledge and experience in brand management, market communications, account management, transaction advisory and financial management, having had 20 years’ experience in senior management positions in business development and transaction support. She has built excellent professional relationships with clients and staff.

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) Degree from Makerere University. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) of United Kingdom, a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) of United Kingdom and a Certified Public Accountant (CPAU). Sandra is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in business administration at Edinburg Business School, Heriot Watt University. She is a Council member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She is a Charter President of the Rotary Club of Kampala Platinum.
