Overview:

Practical work experience (also known as PET) is the undertaking of real-life work of a financial, business or commercial nature.

Students on a CPA course and associates are required to undertake a minimum of 3 years of practical work experience as part of their initial professional development. Students/associates should gain experience in three of the technical areas and all the non technical fields as prescribed in the Accountants Regulations, 2024.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the acquired experience;
  2. Review experience documented by the students/associates; and
  3. Support others to document their experience.

Target Audience:

The webinar is suitable for all students and associates as well as practical experience mentors/supervisors.

CPD Hours & Fee:

Members of the Institute will be awarded 2 Hours of CPD for full time attendance.
