Overview:
Tuition providers/Trainers play a role in professional accountancy education in preparing aspiring professional accountants. All ICPAU tuition providers are expected to undergo training relating to the teaching and learning of ICPAU courses. In addition to already technical knowledge, a tuition provider demonstrates presentation/communication, interpersonal, professional behaviour and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and learning.
The workshop is designed to benefit and help you develop, organize, and deliver effective training and assess the success of the training in preparing a CPA student for professional examinations and beyond.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Develop instructional design frameworks and facilitation methodologies that cater for diverse, inclusive learner needs.
- Identify learning and development activities that facilitate the attainment of the required levels of competences;
- Align tutoring objectives with the syllabus.
- Leverage modern learning technologies.
- Develop actionable strategies for monitoring, evaluating, and refining training programs, ensuring sustained relevance, effectiveness, and continuous quality enhancement.
- Update the andragogy skills while dealing with the CPA students
Target Participants
The workshop is mandatory for all tuition providers/trainers including staff/lecturers of ICPAU courses.
