Overview
This 5th EACOA will gather over 1 500 delegates under the theme “Driving Sustainability through Innovation in the Accounting Profession”, that emphasizes the critical role of accountants in targeting the economic growth across the East African Community (EAC). It highlights the profession’s transformative potentials in aligning innovation and sustainability with the region’s unique priorities. EACOA is jointly organized by the five East Africa Community Institutes of Accountants (EACIAs), namely Burundi’s Ordre des Professionnels Comptables (OPC), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) of Tanzania, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
CPD Hours
Participants will be awarded 21 hours of CPD upon full time attendance.

Uganda Airlines is offering a 45% discount on all tickets to Bujumbura, for EACOA 2026 travellers from Uganda.
The discounted rate is USD 370 (return ticket) per person.
