
CPA Hon. James Nathan Nandala Mafabi is a full member of ICPAU since 1994 and a Hon. Member of Parliament representing Budadiri West County.
His motivation for nomination is to promote accountancy and professionalism in Uganda.
As a Council nominee, his objectives include moving the Institute forward, making ICPAU a great Institution and promoting members’ interests.
Nathan has been a qualified accountant since 1993 and has practised accountancy for over 30 years. He also heavily participated in the enactment of the Accountants Act, 2013 as an MP, and was among the first examiners of the CPA course. He previously served on the ICPAU’s Education Committee. He currently serves on the Council of ICPAU.
Nathan holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Makerere University. He also graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Statistics and Economics degree and also with a Bachelor of Law. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education of Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation from Uganda Management Institute.
Nathan is a Practitioner at MTC Associates since 1995 to date.
