
CPA Nancy Amuge Owino is a full member of ICPAU since 2010.
With over 15 years of professional experience in accounting and financial management in both private and public sector, CPA Nancy is driven by a deep desire to contribute meaningfully to the promotion of the Institute’s mandate in Uganda and beyond. Her motivation stems from the shared mission with ICPAU of strengthening integrity, promoting excellence and creating value and impact in the accountancy profession in Uganda.
Her main objective is to contribute to the strategic direction of ICPAU in alignment with its mission to develop and regulate accountants for professional excellence and sustainable impact. Secondly, CPA Nancy wishes to drive and support the implementation of policies that strengthen ICPAU’s position as a key driver of financial management and professional excellence in the Country.
Over the past 4 years, CPA Nancy has served on three Committees of Council and has participated in various CPD engagements that have seen her chair some sessions at the conferences/seminars/webinars organised by ICPAU. Sharing her experience during the women in Accountancy seminar, she encouraged women to be more participative and proactive in the field of accountancy.
CPA Nancy has over 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management and leadership that align directly with the responsibilities and strategic objectives required by the Institute in executing its mandate. She is a holder of a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University of Scotland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from UMI and a Bachelors Degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.
Nancy is currently the Finance Manager at Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, a position she has held since March 2023. She previously served in accounting and finance roles at Public Procurement & Disposal of Public Assets Authority, American Tower Corporation Uganda, Umeme Ltd and Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
